Review of the Year 2008...

Well I've been listening to reviews of the year and predictions for 2009 on the Radio and been thinking about my 2008, and realised that although it was tricky and not what I would choose, I have actually achieved a great deal.

I joined Headway and met some great people, both people like me whose life has been altered and also volunteers who give their time to help adjust to new circumstances... how the UK would fall apart if all the volunteers simply stopped.

I go to a knitting group and sit and try to knit and chat and listen, not always successfully. Actually, one of the other people helpfully pointed out to me that I don't have to knit just come and be with them,but the garter stitch hooded baby blanket for the premie babies is my 'can't do anything else project', so I always have one on the needles.

Knitting wise... I have developed the sock knitting from DPN's to 2 circ and now magic loop and also toe up. I possess a wardrobe of handknitted socks and never wear bought ones..such luxury.

I made my first top down cardi and love the technique, no sewing and try on as you go. Fell in love with Malabrigo worsted and erm bought some sock yarn too!!

Crochet is still a major WIP but I made 6 tiny baby hats and I am half way through my easy lap quilt. I just think I need more practice and to realise that I cannot expect to be as proficient as 30 years plus of knitting after only 3 projects!!!

I have also managed loads of charity knitting and keep a list so I can remind myself if I'm feeling UGH what I have done.

So 2009, it's a day at a time and trying to knit (and crochet too!) from some of my stash as well , I'd perhaps like to keep the wip's below 5, as well. Currently have 4 so I feel pretty good about that as 3 projects are the lap quilt and a shawl and the ever present hooded baby blanket.

It's been a while and I've been busy helping sorting the affairs of my elderly next door neighbour who suddenly died. It was difficult to trace his few relatives. We have known him for nearly 20 years and it is a big loss and will be very strange next summer when we virtually live in the garden and he isn't there.

It has been the coldest start to winter for 30 years and I need my winter woolies and I'm enjoing making my new one, even tho' I had got to the yoke and then had to frog back to the collar! didn't like the 5 inch collar... 3 inch more me. I'm really loving this colourway in malabrigo so soft worsted, I expect it to pill but It will keep me warm!

I've also made the Hooded scarf from the Interweave knits Winter 2008. This is an ideal project keep me warm at the bus stop but, my yarn choice was just too hard and I am not happy with the finished article boo hoo!! I think I need a softer yarn and will knit it again with a few modifications.. The hood was just so good to keep my head warm!

What have I been doing?

Thinking.. knitting..thinking.. making another unscheduled vist to the neurogist and visting the optician weekly trying to sort out the ongoing saga of the glasses!!
...and thankfully more knitting

Highlights my first ever mystery KAL, a small project and actually my first beret.

The Meret. Wooolly Wormhead's fabby KAL on Ravelry. I was oddly nervous and found some Debbie Bliss cashmerino Aran in my stash. It is deep red not pink as shown in the pic. I can't remember why I bought it ( pre stroke!) and it was great to knit with. I did the standard beret and then frogged and did the extra repeat, I prefer it. It's a fabby desisn and a yummy yarn ideal for this

I bought an extra ball as I thought I hadn't enough. DRATS One of the things I find hard is maths post stroke so hard for a trained accountant. Luckily one of my knitty finds suggested exchanging it at the shop. Hadn't thought of that either.

These are some of the events that have led the 'thinking' this autumn.. I've hit the 2 year wall and filling in the benefit forms as well hasn't helped. It's a process but it's hard and realising that things won't be the same and I'm unlike to recover and I just can't will myself better..........

I'm trying to knit through the bad times but my balance has been poor and my vision has been pants as well so it's been to and fro to the neurologist and our local optican to sort out my 3 pairs of glasses!.

I've used up some old 100% wool in my stash for blanket squares for newborn babes blankets in Pakistan The wool keeps them warm even if it gets wet in the snow. Apparently 2 years after the eathquakes they are still living in tents.

I'm also starting a new winter cardi, I realise that sock knitting is harder in winter when light levels are poor, so it's another aran weight in yummy colours.

I'm probably well behind everybody, but I'm really enjoying listening to Diva's don't knit at the moment. If you can recommend any audiobooks (I get them from our library) I'd be grateful)

'Tis November and I've finished a Christmas Pressie!

Actually all of these 3 are pressies but the black ones are for my daughter. a moment of madness... Why choose to knit black if you have visual problems except you know that your loved one is unlikely to wear anyother colour. It is my last ever black knit.The silk/merino yarn was tricky (a polite expression to see, in sunlight it seemed to shimmer back at me. But ho hum they are done and another lesson learnt.

The other two are a new pattern released on Ravelry called 'Nightingale gloves' but they are fingerless. I made these as a surprise for two new friends I have made this year who have become special to me in different ways. One from Headway and a knitty friend. The first pair were received with pleasure and said how 'why did I think of them, they will be so useful'.. I can't ask for more from a gift given. I came home to find on my doorstep a fabby Rak from Knittynutter..Thanks again

Much as I liked the Nightingale pattern, I need 'fingers' so I found a another pattern and managed to amalamagate the two and made these longer armwarmer type ones to match the koolhaas hat. Should be cosy out walking!

I was intending to have another picture on me on here for a very long time, but it's not that often you are in the local paper in colour!

Thanks to Smoking Hot needles for an idea much earlier this year,I started making minisocks with my leftover sock yarn. I loved them so included them with gifts, then found the wee sock swap group on Ravelry and then decided to enter a Christmas tree in our local church festival and sell them for the local hospice. I been donated some yarn and even bought a bag of little leftovers too and thing I've made over 70 this year!! I took them to the knitting group and the local paper had a reporter and photographer there so here I am again..

Good news healthwise...I am going back to the Headway Daycentre tomorrow, just mornings to start, phew it's been 5 months but hopefully some of my friends will still be there. I saw the neurologist and he is happy with my progress but gave me another of those UGH head injections but they have worked so grit my teeth and take it! Friday is the eye clinic, not to sure what they have to offer, but you don't n know until they assess you. Oh and the gov't have realised that perhaps I am not quite well enough to work at the mo and have now given me back some of my benefit..a bit of a week really!.. and I've worked out too..easily pleased??

Well after the requests on the blog, are you really ready for it! I'm a bit camera shy but...

These were taken my my lovely son, early today in the lovely sunshine.I'm still loving my Koolhaas 'tho and especially this colourway.

You can see the pattern really well on the hat and I managed these mini Fetchings with the leftovers too.

Today I went out with a friens and bought some complementary purple Austermann Alpaca silk to make a Cowl, my first. So I should be toasty this winter!

I have been wanting to knit this for a year since it was published in Interweave Knits in Holiday 2007 Edition.

It is the now famous Koolhaas. Now I have the right needles and I bought some fabby Malabrigo worsted in Cuarzo. A fantastic few hours knitting great soft yarn and a stunning pattern.

I am so happy with it, and best of all I even think it looks okay on me! Finally a hat I will wear.

My Mother's Day pressie, has flowered! Another dormant treasure.. This was Black Wizard Dahlia a stunning flower, another for my collection selected by my daughter

What do you think? My first top down.. I can recommend it. You can try on as you go, no sewing up and perfect for striping yarn. It has been blocked, um I don't normally..well i started knitting in the days when nobody blocked garments!! and it doesn't have the buttons, perhaps I can get some next week.

This is the 'Naked Lady' given to me by Bearium as part of my swap parcel. Amazing how a plain bulb can produce flowers without water or soil just relying on it's reserves! I'm going to plant it in the garden once the flowers have faded and enjoy them again next year hopefully.

I started my top down cardi after much delaying tactics, but actually they have paid off. I found a fabby pattern on Ravelry and my new Knitpicks options are proving invaluable for this project. I've sort of been unable to put the needles down, leave it alone, a bit like I used to be when I could read a book. The Noro Silk Garden aran weight yarn seems so thick and grows so fast after all my sock knitting. Plus with the weather turning the incentive of wanting to wear asap... Any how less than a week and it's about 3/8 done I've even magic looped one of the sleeves today, so much easier than Dpn's... Oh what a happy knitter I am ..

and I went out in the dark, yes at night, the first time in ages to my local knitting group, they are so welcoming, things are looking up!!

A bit of sunshine and colour and the end of the summer we didn't seem to have!

I've not been blogging, but been knitting..finished the shush project which has been wrapped and now on it's way and started on the Innocent hats, been saving my leftovers since last year and every now and then spend a couple of hours making a few.

Also convinced a good friend to come for coffee and bring the sock yarn I bought her 18 mths ago, 2 hours later, she left with the beginnings of her first ever sock, toe up on 2 circs. I've lent her my circs, thought she would lose her DPN's and in a way I think toe up is much more encouraging as you can try it on as you go.

I've been working on my wrap for a while, It's very fine and I have to work on it when the light is good. It's taken a while but I had knitted about 10" but spotted a mistake at the beginning and frogged it all back. Now the weather is colder it's a pleasure to have on my lap, a scrummy soft alpaca/cashmere/silk mix dyed specially for me by my fav etsy gal..

Nearly finished swatching/ researching for my winter project spent a lot of time doing this, delaying starting, not sure why, the yarn is expensive, it's a new technique, maybe a loss in confidence, take your pick for a reason and I do have the frogged yarn of 2 cardigan jackets sulking behind the sofa.

The weather seems to definitely be autumnal and I have to find a glove pattern for this thicker Dk yarn. I love fingerless mitts but for me it has to be gloves now as I get so cold when walking! This is a scrummy yarn and I can't wait to knit it up. I'm thinking more like gauntlets, to keep my wrists warm too!

I have another new project but that's a gift, so shush..it's a secret and I'll have to post later.

Well mitts, yes I love the Fetching pattern and made it again, with some stash yarn given years ago. This is an aran weight yarn and I made in one pattern repeat longer as sort of research/ practice/ swatch befire my own gloves. Oh and I made the Odessa hat again,(rambles off topic must learn how to link, easy instructions anybody?..) to match. Just reduced the number of stitches very easy as they are a multiple of 10
So the pink/red are Dk and the cream Aran yarn.

BUT I used magic loop for both of them, yay ! I love it's loopyness, and (listen closely as I'm whispering) Can I confess I ordered a whole set of Harmony wood options interchangeable from Knitpicks in the USA and my Ravelry penfriend posted them to me. I love them and I've used them 4 times already!!

oh and before I go, I'm feeling better and went out this week, thanks to the knitty gals, you've made me so welcome and the transport too made this trip possible

Bloomin Brilliant Bearium

I had a meeting at the school, yesterday so missed the postman,and had to wait 24 hours to collect my swap parcel but boy was it worth it! I tore off the paper and was greeted with a box jammed full of beautifully wrapped pressies.

I was good and as instructed,left the envelope to last. I was really touched as I opened each item how much thought had gone into my swap and how well, my partner had matched my questionnaire and photo...

Inside there was... Hand dyed and Hand spun yarn just for me.. a fabby pale purple corriedale, a lovely porcelain cup and saucer with a quote from Elizabeth Zimmermann on it, again done specially for me!!, a really cute sheepy purse that has me smiling as I write this,Lucy, that multi talented gal made that too!! I also have a great purple project bag now and a lovely notebook too.

She also included a 'Naked Lady' Bulb, some intriguing growing medium crystals, a pot of natural potion for fatigue relief, (I'll be grateful for this) and yummy natural liquorice,and my secret vice strong coffee,(only allowed on holidays!!)

Finished and something else new!

The Magic loop socks are finished..great!

I used 2.5 mm, 120 cm knitpicks harmony needle and I love it. The Silver sock tutorial was fab and so clear with photos, I am going to be using ML more often especially for those plainer socks.It was just so great to finish 2 at once and to be honest with this pair SSS could easily have set it as I just don't like the yarn, (JL Vinca), part of that is probably as it's not my choice of colours as a friend really liked them. But really it feels a bit too rough, like wool used to when I knitted years ago. I'm going to be looking for a home for them.

Another first for me. Knitting has so many options and techniques to try, that I never get bored, and that's before you mention yarns.

This is my first ever top down cardi. A learning one really as I'm going to do one for me soon with some special yarn. This is a baby 4ply and is going to go to a premie babe somewhere in the UK. I really like the idea of minimal sewing and it seems especially suitable for baby clothing.

New knitting skill

Magic loop.. I'm trying it and it's going okay. I fiddled about until I was happy with both the socks cast on. I got this yarn from Ukarma and it's not my fav. It's a bit coarse and keeps spliting and the colour run is so long that the balls seem different but they are the same dyelot and yes, it's not my colours. But in a way perfect for ML, as I think I'd definitely get SSS with it.

This is more ukarma yarn, that I really liked. So soft and a briliiant colour. I made 2 pairs of Fetching mitts..a great pattern and 2 hats, also love the Odessa pattern. another grumperina masterpiece as I adore her jaywalkers. These are destined to be charity Christmas box items.

The radio would keep me company, I could use the penknife to make my own knitting needles, providing the island had wood and thin yarn could keep me busy knitting for longer.

I can't remember the last film I watched. I used to enjoy the focus of cinema, but the sweet wrappers/ chatting drove me mad..(think turning round and glaring!

The only film I have watched repeately is probably Grease!!... I remember queuing up to see it when it was first released, going again with a friend and now watching it with my children. It is just a feel good film for me with happy memories.

My lastest socks made with the fabby yarn from WildFire fibres.. a lush bambino.
A basic toe up with a lace panel I have another skein on it's way a solid colour. I'm leaning toward single colours to show off all the stitch patterns I want to do.

Magic Loop, more shopping to do, the booklet and the long needle so I can learn to do 2 toe ups at once.

A BSJ set with 'better than bootees baby socks. Knitted for a friend to give her niece. Not my usual colours but good use of this bargain yarn.

INCREDIBLE FACT

My first ever on my blog.. Elizabeth Zimmermann grew up and spent time in my small town as a child, I was amazed when I noticed this in my new 'opinionated knitter book'. (The book arrived recently but reading is pants at the mo, so I've just flicked through it...) I'm considering notifying our town council, I'm sure that a heroine of knitting should be honoured in some way..

It's amazing how nature can be. This is my superb globe archichoke, grown from a miserable looking seedling. Purple splendour

A bit more gardening by accident. Didn't mean to show off one of our 5 waterbutts. We also recycle the 'grey water' from our washing machine to use on non food plants.

A tad unseasonal but this 'Lace Ribbon Scarf' is for a birthday pressie.

I used 2 skeins of Araucaunia Atacama. Knitty describes this as an easy to remember portable,project. I had to concentrate every pattern row, but it grew quickly because of the needle 5mm needles.

Other knitty news

Again unseasonally, I'm making myself some gloves using some sock yarn, I know I shouldn't need them for 4 monthes but I saw a pattern and fancied a knitting change.

Bambino socks, now upto the second heel, I'm so much in love with this yarn, that I'll be sad to finish them.

Baby sock , trying out a different heel, more later.

Charity armwarmers, hibernating for the summer.

Jacket has been frogged and yarn is sulking out of sight. I thought best just to do it now and find another great pattern in the Autumn as I love the feel of the yarn.

Still my head hasn't cleared and as I haven't been to Headway/ Stroke group, I'm feeling increasingly isolated. I'm still waiting for my next neurologist appointment, this last attack seems relentless.

It was a major effort to go to a knitting group and I'm not able to keep pushing myself like that.

My knitting is keeping me ticking over but I'm finding it hard in the evenings to know what to do.

Queen - the result of going to easy them at a small gig before they were a 'super group', showing my age but I was only 15. It was a brilliant gig and I was right at the front..

What was the last song you listened to? My meditation CD. I don't listen to music at the mo, takes too much brain power, but use the mediatation cd daily to help me get to sleep.
What’s your favorite local band? My friend's husband is in a blues band, they are good for a bunch of 55 year olds +!!
What’s the worst CD/record/etc. you’ve ever bought? Not sure but DH once bought me soppy love songs instead of the rock cd I'd wanted!

This seems to be the project from hell.

First I realised that I didn't have enough yarn despite doing a tension square, using the recommended needles. Luckily a fellow Raveler came to my aid and sold me some of her stash.

Then when sewing the jacket up I thought something was not quite right and realised that the fronts didn't match the picture. Looking at the pattern book again I discovered that there was a major typo and the front marked as left was the right.
So I unpicked my sewing up, frogged both front to the armholes and reversed the shaping.

Now I've completed the sewing up, carefully taking my time to matress stitch and started the crochet edging.

I tried it on this morning and it's huge!! The sleeves are baggy the front much too big.

What do you do?... Is it just not meant to be? I love the soft yarn, Do I admit defeat, leave it to sulk and work on something nice or going hunting for another pattern and frog it all...boo hoo,feeling a bit miserable now.

The first of my Day lilies. I love this flower and really look forward to seeing them come out. The RHS garden at Hyde Hall has a great border with 'hot' colours that inspired me.

My latest sock and I'm loving this yarn. It's called Fresh Berries Bambino and is so vibrant and fab to knit with. I bought it from Vikki etsy store 'Wild Fire Fibres'. It's a merino and bamboo mix. I've finished the first sock in a week, not bad going as it's patterned but you just want to keep knitting up this yarn.

The pattern is basically a toe up with a panel from Nancy Bush New England design. I find it hard to find patterns to complement variegated yarns. Too many patterns 'get lost in the colours'.

I had started a toe up Hedera but that was with Alpaca yarn and it just felt too hot and fuzzy to knit up at the mo, also think 2.25mm are my favoured needles for my feet.

Gloves are on the needles, baby socks too. My Rooster jacket just waiting to have the edge crochet. I need a clear head day for that. Oh and I've done a tension square for another jacket and have completed my 'Lace Ribbon scarf' just needs washing and blocking.(Another pressie).

Juliet - the one day scarf

I had sort of arranged to see my friend who has known me from school. It's great because if I feel well enough I can give her a call Friday morning and ask if I can come to lunch. She picks me up and drives me the short distance back to hers and I can relax for a few hours.

It was her birthday last month and I had a little pressie but hadn't felt well enough to see her.

I have liked this pattern and thought it would suit my friend. A light wispy scarf giving a bit of warmth to Autumn/ Spring days. So I decide on Thursday to make it and wrote out the pattern larger and even rows in one colour, odd in another after struggling with the close text.I just kept knitting and I had finished it by evening. I made the flower brooch first,(forgetting to take a picture) but had no back so just attached it to a safety pin.

Friday I rang her then wrapped the pressies. Put them in my knitting bag and decided to bring along a few website addresses and my some of my wips.

She loved the scarf, it suited her and yes it will look lovely with her brown jacket and keep her neck warm. It was so good that she appreciated it.

What a lovely lunch, just with things from the fridge, but we spent the time talking knitting.

Her Debbie Bliss cardi, that I finished for her as been worn all the time this summer, her mum commenting on how we had made it between us! She wanted a new knitting project, in summer yarn without too much pattern) having decided that her impulse buy bulky yarn ( when she just wanted to do some knitting wasn't right) could go in the bin.

Strange how I had bought the website details, with me and when she took me home found my latest Interweave knits, she instantly found a stocking stitch short sleeve cardi that she liked.

Normally we talk gardening but Friday, to talk knitting felt just right, and I'm so pleased that I made the one day scarf.

My Saturday NHS appointment went well. My new neurologist is a tad eccentric and a wee bit abrupt but more importantly ,he has given me hope. I'm apparently a complicated case and he didn't have my notes or scans just copies of letters. BUT he is going to review them to check the diagnosis of stroke and hemplegic migraine and reasons for the apparent 'overmedication' and will see me again in a few weeks. I think this is better than just rushing in and he said 'I"M SURE I CAN GIVE YOU YOUR LIFE BACK'...

....My cabletini's are finished yipee it's just seemed so long. The pattern not difficult I like cables, so it must be I have too many projects on the needles. They're drying on my blockers so piccies to come.

I received a RAK parcel from my 'Toe up'knitty friend. Not just the postcards of Pacifica and San Francisco,she said she was sending but left over fab sockyarn, a souvenir teatowel and a fab wool cutter on a magnetic clasp chain, so I can take it on and off easily. Such thoughtful unexpected gifts..The world of knitters are fab and Georgia is a'star', makes me quite emotional and restores your belief in the kindness in most of humanity.

My vegetable patch with the summerhouse my hubby built for me. I can retreat/hide and knit in here. I haven't been able to do much gardening this year and hubby has taken over the vegetable patch. Still,I'll be able to eat the beans, carrots,potatoesand sweetcorn (if they grow okay) My tomato plants in the Greenhouse are looking great and I'll have 6 varities to choose from.

My oldest pattern given to me by a 'knitty' friend. It's a bit fragile but I love looking at it, enjoying the adverts. I'd love to be able to wear the bonnet!! I'm still on my quest to find the hat pattern to suit me.

My mini socks. I just love these. I started knitting them when the first swap started and now I'm hooked. I found 'wee sock' group on Ravelry perfect for me. I'm wondering if I can get mini balls of sock yarn, I sure once I saw 10g balls for heels and toes perfect for these. I'd like a really big choice by Christmas for the Tree Festival and to sell for the Hospice. I think they'll make great stocking fillers! If you've come across smaller balls let me know, I'd be grateful!

Which 3 guests alive (or not) would you invite to a dinner party and why?

My first thought was my paternal grandmother, my dad and Victoria Wood. My paternal Grandmother died when my dad was only 18 months old, the youngest of her 9 children. Before my stroke, I found out why and where she died and I took my dad back to Macclesfield and Manchester and we found her grave along with his 9 year old sister that he never knew he had. I’d love to know about her life and her family.
I think she’d be proud of my dad and all he has achieved, despite a poor, deprived upbringing. I think it may get a bit sad and heavy at times so perhaps Victoria Wood would lighten the atmosphere.

Failing that I could invite people I ‘met’ from the first swap and we could talk knitting all night.

In both cases could I have a vegetarian chef so I don’t have to worry about the food!!

My finished BSJ and a question

My second BSJ completed as a rak for someone on Ravelry. I made it with Patons Dreamtime 4ply a lovely soft, machine washable pure wool and sock yarn leftovers received as a RAK from Ukarma. Thie one was much easier as I 'marked' both sides of the 2 stitches where the decreases and increases occur. I made the hat to match.

Question? What do you do when you have made yourself loads of lovely socks and really do not need more? My family don't seem interested in having any..The only other people who I've made them for is a friend's sons.
I think it's time to use some of my yarn for other projects. I think maybe a pair of gloves as an Autumn project, any suggestions?

Hi I'm back after what seems an eternity. The past 2 weeks have been difficult but perhaps now I'm on the mend. I've seen one specialist and am going to see another neurologist who specialises in migraine in 2 weeks. I just want to get better and be able to go to my stroke group and Headway again.

Knitting news is a bit sparce not surprisingly, but I sourced the alpaca yarn I need to finish my jacket, so when I feel upto it I'll be able to finish it. I knitted up some swap yarn and made a basic scarf when I first got up from my bed. The yarn does all the work and it looks quite pretty, I'm giving it for my charity knitting and I think someone will be pleased to receive it. I've also made some minisocks as I can remember the pattern and as they are small it doesn't matter it I make a mistake.

..Also I received 2 great ukarma parcels: one with a great magazine 'knitscene' winter 07/spring 08 which had great patterns that included the Apothercary sweater and other top down patterns. The other had 2 balls of Rowan Linen drape in a purple very similar to my alpaca. I'm going to make a washcloth. I've never made any before but having experienced the luxury of my own socks, I think it will be a similar pick me up, to wash with something I made myself. There was also some teabags and a lovely candle, great unexpected gifts from a lovely lady that really cheered me up.

Hi I'm back to my blog. I'm now feeling well enough to blog, garden and generally go out again. I'm hoping to be able to go to 'Headway' and my stroke group this week.
These are my geums. The best they have ever been. I love going out in the garden, it's changing day by day.

Knitting news..latest on the needles a BSJ. I joined the group on Ravelry and the tip about marking a stitch has really helped. This is for a Ravelry 'friend' and is using some leftover sock yarn to make the Baby Surprise Jacket in a newborn size. I'm using my Boyes needles as the bright shiny needles seem easier of my eyes.

More Ravelry news.. my alpaca jacket, I've run out of yarn. Never has this happened and of course it had to be with a discontinued yarn!! But an angel has come to my rescue and is selling me some from her stash! My ISO plea got results, and it should arrive next week. It's a mystery as I'm using the recommended yarn and I shortened the sleeves and length by 3" I am however in love with the alpaca.

My FO below yipee the mohair blanket is finished. Why I bought the yarn is a mystery, I don't like mohair next to me and the fibers leave a funny taste in my mouth...So I'm going to have to remember NO MORE MOHAIR. I am proud of this though because I crochet the edge myself and it does look bright and a cheerful. I'm going to donate to our local hospice, It's very tactile and light.

I've also done a little more on my cabletini toe up socks and had a try out of my new UKARMA specially dyed sock yarn. Just looking for the right pattern now.

Ravelry has become important to me, I love being able to 'talk knitting' and it's great for advice...just have to limit my time or else there'll be no knitting!

Knitting news

My lilac trees are in full bloom and the perfume is really strong. I've been sitting out to knit and pottering about doing gardening.

This is my latest big project. A cardigan for me. I'm going to shorten it and also omit the beads that are on the sleeves and front. I think beads would make it too dressy for me. I've done the back and started a sleeve, keeping the chevron holes. I'm really pleased with it so far. The yarn (Rooster almerino) feels lovely to knit.
Progress on the cabletini socks on my new knitpicks circs seems slow. I have also had to frog back 2 ". I find it hard to knit these at night and I'm trying to do more gardening in the day.

My plain socks are also on going. The yarn seemed to get thinner as I came to the foot. Not what you need for a sock. I bought the yarn on ebay and suspect it was a 'second' . The ball band had been changed from the orginal one.

I finished this scarf.Made in Twilleys freedom spirit 'Fire'. It was from their pattern book and strangely so poorly photographed you couldn't see the ending of the scarf. I really disliked so frogged back and made my own... Another learning experience make sure that your pattern show the garment front toward the camera. If it doesn't think why not..are they trying to hide less favourable aspects of the garment.

I've also been trying dyeing yarn with Kool aid. It's going well and now I will try it with food dyes. It's supposed to be cheaper and less airmiles so I'll try that next!

Inspiration and disasters

Not a flower today but my brocolli. This purple variety has been feeding us and the neighbours. I've repot all my tomatoes and hopefully we'll get a good crop this year. Just got to start french beans and sweetcorn.
Knitting disasters or more accurately finished disasters.( Topic inspired by Fi)

This is my lovely colinette jacket,that I confidently put in my new washing machine on hand wash. It came out like a limp rag and could not be salvaged. Finally I put in the Textile recycling bin. The other one is a duplicate for my sister.

When I was 18 my dad put my Kaffe Fassett fairisle that had taken months to knit in the washing machine. It was ruined and I've never made another fair isle. ( Oh why didn't I remember that when I washed my Colinette.

Using the same pattern to knit another garment. I don't like repeats except for plain socks that for my takeaway knitting.

Keep knitting a garment when I realise that the style is too short/long. I'm getting better at this and measure something I like that looks good on me. BUT now I have 6 skeins of frogged Nantucket jacket..(yes the heavily patterned cable one that I finished and never wore. I now have the frogged yarn sulking behind the sofa.)
Ironing/steaming I don't do it. I have flattened a piece of knitting until it resembled a pancake. I sometime pin out a garment and mist it with water, and leave it to dry.

A nicer topic... colours as I may have said I've rediscovered turquiose and that probably explains why I couldn't part with this yarn. I don't like mohair my skin reacts to it. I've got a sock dyeing kit and my next project is to dye the yarn for my Hedera socks..

Do you think we change the colours we like throughout our lifetime. My gardening colours change too. It was fiery red/orange and yellow, but now I have the shady side white/purple and pink. Maybe we get in and/or perhaps swapping and searching out colours for others has rekindled my interest in other colors.

A great shame that that you can't smell my perennial stock. It survived the winter and is in flower again. A bargain from Beth Chatto,it's a bit leggy but I'm hoping to take cuttings once it's finished flowering. A beautiful hardy plant so worth a try.
It's been a great week post wise culminating in this stunning sock yarn professionally dyed specially for me!! I happened to be on Ravelry at the right time when Sally made a generous offer. It feels so soft and I love it. Sally is a multi talented person and it's worth checking out her website www.sallypointer.com.
Two more of my favourite things arrived today. Sock needles and My new Interweave mag..The only downside is the the distance they travel to get to me.

I have spent a lot of time on Rav recently and received some great parcels of wooly things. It's true that knitting can help soothe the soul and I've made some great 'parcel penpals' and also send messages across the pond to Georgia in the US.

This is me receiving a donation for 'Different Strokes' from the local fireswim. I applied for some equipment to help with rehab. I had to give a small acceptance speech. What you can't see is the room full of people and the lights shining on me so I couldn't see. I started okay, had to gulp down the tears that were forming BUT I DID IT. Manda our trainer said she was ready to step in and help, and she was proud that I did it myself. I was so surprised how hard it was. Before my stroke I was so confident now I doubt myself. When times are hard I can look back and think of that evening.
I love seeing other gardens pictured on blogs so here are the bluebells in my garden..I'm trying to get out there everyday, it makes me feel good. I need to repot 24 more tomato plants and start my maintenance on the borders.
Socks news.. Chevrolace nearly completed..but here are my learning socks from Cat Bhordi's book. I'll need to find a little person who'll fit them! sort of like Cinderella..the mini socks are made with leftover yarn. If you have about 5-10g going spare please send it to me. I've decided to decorate a tree with them for our local Christmas Tree Festival. (Yes I know it's not summer yet). They raise money for the St Helena's Hospice.

This is book is my new bible. I had it sent from America. It's just so clever and clear. It's also supported by clips on UTube. I've already learnt magic cast on , Larink increases - their fab for socks. There are new techniques for sock construction and you make a little sock on bigger needles- either DPN's or circs as apractical lesson. I'm really enjoying it. It challenges the traditional ways.
This is my Ukarma 'Feed the children school jumper destined for Africa. Notice the scrap of yarn left. That's all I had left from the project and did I fret whether I would have enough to finish. I left the sleeves unfinished then completed the Vneck I case I had to frog and shorten the sleeves. I didn't like this project and it became like 'work' and a discipline to finish as it was for charity so an African girl can go to school - a great incentive.
My spindle after it's first outing. The guild was great. I did get tired at times but it was good to talk wool, fibres and knitting. My spindle was pronounced as useless by the no3 spinner in the WORLD but no worries she'll get me a better one for next time! I also came home with 1/4 of a raw fleece from Primrose. I can't remember the breed of the fleece just the name! Barbara wouldn't take any money. She had a fab wheel and 30 year of spinning experience. But I gave some some of my greeny/blue sheep curls to 90year old Jill who just loved them.
I also met Pat who lives near to me. I've arranged to met for coffee on Friday and lend her some sock patterns. MY chevrolace sock was examined and it was a real thrill for it to cooed over by these experts. They praised my stitches and I felt so proud!
Lastly. My hat for the Save the Children. Paul O Grady has been appeal for these for Nepal. Perhaps you could knit one too!!

Socks never had the dreaded sss but now I know how easily it could come. My April socks are Chevrolace pattern and I'm not really enjoying it but not wanting to admit defeat. It helps that I'm part of a group knitting them. Perhaps I upped my difficulty level too much, or 2mm needles are just too small for my vision. The yarn is lovely and I think that will get me through to the end.
Spining. I plucked up the courage to ring the local Weavers, Spinners and Dyeing guild. The secretary was really nice. Next week I' going with knitting and Spindle to my first meeting. It's a members meeting with lunch. I just can't believe how nervous I felt ringing somebody new and explaining about my stroke as I might need some quiet time during the day. My speech started to falter and I became aware that I was searching for words. I was also incredibly tired afterwards. But great I've done it and hopefully will be able to learn how to spin my own yarn!
Sunglasses. I've been told by the Optician that I really need these as I'm struggling in bright lights. But how do you choose? They need to be quite big frames and I'm used to my small glasses. Plus when I try them on I can't quite see. I use my local optician because they give brilliant service and let me dither without feeling hassled. It's also important to support them as otherwise less mobile people won't have a local optician. Well dd wasn't a great help so I'll have to go back with a friend and dh for their opinions. Did notice on my way to 'Headway' loads of cool people wearing 'sunnies' so perhaps I just don't recognise the 'cool' me.
Swaps do I ,don't I. More dithering, I really want to do something to celebrate WKIP. It's part of the Holiday Swap group I'm tempted to join, I like the idea. Edited.... I've joined

Wip's and a FO

These are apart of my new project. Teach myself how to crochet properly. I've only ever made two items a pram blanket for Guy (13 years ago) and a crochet mug of coffee for a friend..I just don't feel confident and so I bought a new book 'Crocheting in plain English' by Maggie Righetti. I've also got the knitting one and they are good guides even after 35+ you can still learn. I think the names of the stitches confuses me and the fact they change between American and English. We don't talk the same language.
I've made 3 squares so far trying out the stitches. I can DC quite well and treble but that Half Treble is not flowing. I am also trying out hooks. So perhaps too many variables. But I'm going to keep on as I want to be able to increase my FO beyond 2.
These are my knitting wips Thrifty knitters April Chevrolace. Another first - lace and also on 2 circulars. They are so fine 2mm but I think easier for me than bamboo DPNs. I've been watching the Cat Bordhi U tube clips. I've learnt so much.Larinc increasing without those tiny holes or 'knit zits' Progress has been slower as I need to look at every other row and mark them off. But I'm increasing for the gussets..oh these are also my first toe ups.
This my FO my version of the Booga bag made in budget priced but lovely 'New Lanark' Aran. Not sure if I should line it but it feels quite firm. I used 44 stitches instead of 34 and I'm glad I have. The Handle looks short but I'm expecting a little stretch. Do I line it? Sewing is a big challenge at the mo and may just use it and see

The little rectangle was a play at fair isle and has felted well . Not sure what to do with it yet but may just turn into a purse to keep in my bag

I'm going to make myself a summer style cardigan. Finishing my friends Debbie Bliss Cathay one has made me think ahead. I want to put beads on it so yet another first. I must finish my' Feed the Children' charity school jumper oh and perhaps the crochet edging on my charity blanket.

My parcel arrived today after all the Post Office shenannigans that my poor spoiler had to deal with. Who else would deliver the parcel back to the sender. Please forgive my typos as my brain is tired today BUT I had to blog this

The blue 'Osborne' box was stuffed to the brim with goodies that had obviously been carefully chosen for me.

First some beautiful purple/blue yarn handdyed by my spoiler and wound into a 'cake' ready for me to use (much nicer in real life than the photo) I too want to try dying some yarn and this can be my inspiration, some pink sock yarn including softy that I recently felt and had been itching to try.

But there was much much more.. I couldn't fit it on one photo. Some of Gabriella's own stitch markers a lovely 'Rooster' book of crochet ( how I must try to learn how) and knitting patterns, a pair of stork scissors and a loopa for me to figure out how to use it. ...taking a deep breath Italian yum strong coffee, georgeous hand cream .. TWO bars of chocolate, chocolate animals intriging Rose pastille sweeties, two lovely soaps.
There was also a card enclosed with a note from 'Zucchero'.

I have not been spoilt... I've been RUINED -our family expression when given overgenerous gifts. Thank you so much Gabriella (I think!!). I love it all and will have many happy hours knitting up the yarn. I've a had a coffee and 2 animals whilst writing this and will share with DH (as He got the parcel from the PO for me.)

Felt well enough today to put up my Easter tree. When my children were little I painted eggs with them, after blowing the contents out...ugh, made hama beads eggs felt egg cozies. Every year I display them on a branch and get out the old cards that my children made at nursery, school. Here is the tree and the cards are on the mantlepiece. I've also filled the paper eggs with chocolate eggs and bunnies for sunday.

My visit to Beth Chatto was great the garden looked good and we saw Beth herself with the head gardener.

I volunteered to finish my friend's knitting for her. She's being making a cardi for 2/3 years. In fact since I finished her last wip . That was a rowan chunky jacket and this one is a beautiful Debbie Bliss cathay cotton and cashmere. There's only 2 fronts to finish so she'll be able to wear it for the summer. It's in her lovely knitting bag that I can enjoy seeing it.

I mentioned it to my mum and remembered her knitting a colinette jacket. Apparently she can get the pattern on her's started so I volunteered to have a look last night and she brought it round today.

Then I had an email from Feedthe children.org.uk requesting school jumpers to be made for Kenya and Uganda. I've put a wanted on ukkarma on ravelry as I have no stash yarns and thought perhaps they're would be some acrylic lurking in other peoples stash awaiting a good home.

So that the third new project well they say things come in 3's and I try to always have some charity knitting on the go. My blanket has stalled but only because I need advice on the crochet edge. I have sewed up the squares but crochet is like another language to me and I need to pluck up the courage and get out my english /crochet dictionary.

I made these using some sock yarn from my stash. They look really cute and even hubby commented on them. I sent one with my parcel to my swap pal.
My jaywalkers are going great one sock fininshed and my bag is growing as well.

Feeling much better this week have been out to my stroke group and today I'm going to Beth Chatto with my oldest friend whose known me from school.

These are my 'knitting goddess' socks, being modelled in situ. They are lovely and thick and the marl turned out well.

I joined a discussion on Ravelry and realised that I fall into the thrifty category. I keep tiny oddments. Some are for perhaps making into 'innocents hats', some for just darning, some for stripy socks in the future? I think I can't bring myself to throw any yarn away. I love the tiny balls some remind me of things I enjoyed knitting. I am going to buy a glass vase and display them as 'Art'. I don't know what my family will say but as I already have a skein of yarn in a vase they'll just sigh.

I have also unpicked one of my Regia bamboo socks. It's all floppy and I don't like wearing them. I will try to reknit in smaller needles with a different pattern. I've looked at some Fo's on Ravelry for ideas. I suppose I'm lucky I've got the time, and I don't just want to keep buying new yarn.

My bag is going well. I needed 6.5mm circs but my Ally Pally helping 3 years ago has came to the rescue. The unexpected gift I was given - a pair of bamboo circs. It is my plain knitting project. I am building myself up to try to crochet a border on my blanket.

I've decided that this is the year I buy only british yarn. We have the perfect climate to rear our wool and I would like to reduce those airmiles.

I have also joined the Thrifty Sock knitters group on ravelry and I've started my first Jaywalkers since my stroke as I feel ready to progress beyond plain knitted socks. I'm knitting them in some smelly regia yarn that I bought on ebay. It's been in isolation and needs to be knitted up so I can wash it and hopefully get rid of the pong.

Then perhaps a pair of lacey Hederas only a 4 row pattern.

Leap year

I just needed to post to my blog today as I love seeing the day 29th February and I would have to wait for another 4 years otherwise!!

My wool for my bag arrived today. It's from New Lanark, a budget priced aran -100% wool direct from the mill. It smells a bit oily and feels rough but I'm prepared to give it a go at only 1.90 for 100g. I'm just waiting for a book 'One Skein' and then I'll do a tension square and handwash it, so I can see how it softens. I have read great things on Ravelry British knitters about it. So i'm going to experiment.

Still awaiting my order for my swap goodies.. apparently they forgot to include all the items and now they are quoting delivery 15th March. I hope it will be earlier so I can finish my parcel.

My latest wip. I bought some cashmere to try from the Knitting Goddess. It was unfortunately too fine for me. The 2mm needles and tiny stitches didn't suit my eyes. I'm now trying knitting it with some Cygnet 4ply yarn and it's going ok. The socks will be a thicker fabric and should last for years.

I'm still thinking of my next project and just need buttons to finish my cardi. I've bought a book today. 'One Skein' as I've fancied it for months and may do a felted bag. I'm very indecisive at the moment.. any suggestions??

Money and Blanket Progress

I am still knitting squares for my charity blanket. The yarn is a mix of mohair and small balls of purple mix yarn from a ebay purchase. They have lingered in my stash too long. I make a few a week to feel virtuous that my stash is not just incresing. I have also sorted through my yarn oddments and sent them to a MIND charity group. I really believe that knitting can help all of us.

Other good news is that my application for funding for our 'Different strokes' group has been successful. No only will our group benefit but also other children who use the Gymnastic centre. There is to be a presentation evening so I will have to find some glad rags to wear.

Reflections

I couldn't sleep so I got up at 4.15am and was lucky enough to see the sunrise, it was so beautiful and suited my mellow mood.

I had some plain sock knitting to do as I started thinking about my next project. It seems important for me to plan projects when I feel well to get me though the days when life is more difficult.

I have some purple cascade 220 fro a cardi that I frogged last year when the fit turned out bad. It may become a 'Forecast'

My knitting has now become my faithful friend. after having the stroke (at only 42) I taught myself to knit again. My eyesight is not good and I can't watch the TV. Unlike the majority of my 'Different Strokes' friends I can use both hands. So I'm lucky, TV or knitting I got the right choice. The internet is great, I don't have to struggle to a LYS. My arithmetic is not so good, (I used to work with figures), I make many more mistakes in my knitting - counting stitches, knitting two different sleeves in my latest project. But I have much more time to knit so the alterations if needed just occupy my time. I take my socks with me wherever I go. Is it my security blanket? something to do if I get stressed in situations that don't go to plan? or so I can take a long rest in the local art cafe, get my knitting out and not worry about how long I need to sit down...

The on line knitting community provides me with on line friendship for the times when I can't get out. Thanks

Topic of the week 5 Anticipation

I am a swap'virgin'... yes this is my first time, and I've spent my time thinking, planning and worrying about the parcel I'm sending rather than waiting for my parcel.

Actually although I've knitted for 30years+ nobody has ever given me yarn. All the knitting gifts I can remember are a roll of bamboo needles given to me about 15 years ago, a book on accessories 2years ago and a knitting calendar this christmas. I don't consider my self difficult to please so perhaps it is uncertainty about what knitting notions I have, or is my stash considered to be more than adequate by my non knitting donors.( Never possible)

Good and the bad and the dangerous

The first Daffodils of the year growing in my garden. Such an uplift and reminder that the seasons roll into the next year with a promise of good times.

The bad- my lovely 'Violet Green' socks came out of the wash like this. Should I have always handwashed them? Luckily I have kept some leftover yarn and will have to practice my darning.

The dangerous..While taking my cat out for a walk I lost my balance and slipped in the garden. Am hobbling about and will just have to sit and knit today. We got my cat from a rescue centre. He has feline aids and can't go outside as he could infect other cats. We built him a run attached to the house so he can sit and get fresh air. He loves being put on a lead and exploring our garden.

Valentines day memory from 2 years ago involves my daughter then age 13. A knock at the door and a car driving away. A lovely box of Thornton's chocolates and a card with her name on it. PANIC Had she a boyfriend/admirer old enough to drive i.e. at least 17 and 4 years old than her.

A week later it was revealed to be a 14 year old boy who she had met while doing a panto in January. Apparently not her type but with looads of spare cash. such relief

Came home from town to find a note from the postman - 2 parcels are needing to be collected - part of my swap 'buying' . I can't wait to look at them. It's great fun thinking what my partner would like and a little scary too.

In town I came across somebody who is not a close friend but but more than an acquaintance. She invited me to join her sitting outside for a coffee.(Her nictotine habit means dressing warm )I am having a bit of a tearful week and instead of my usual reply of I am doing well - she got the more honest version. I now feel a bit guilty that I told her more than she wanted to hear.

Knitting news

I finished a Twilley's freedom spirit crew neck cardi. Fire was the colour I love it it's warm..but the wool bobbles badly. It was also a pain to stitch up. I'd like another cardi in a differnt colour My usual pinks and purples so I'M trying the Wool rich cheapie James Brett yarn. 55% wool but no stripes more a marble effect. Not sure of it yet but will persevre.

I am also making mohair diamonds to make a blanket for charity. The yarn is from my stash as I started a shawl/scarf featured on Knitty daily but didn't like the effect. The diamonds look okay and I feel virtuous as the yarn is not lingering behind the sofa.. Good for insulation.

Finally I've made another pair of size15 socks for my friends son. pics to follow.

Health

Well Iam now jogging at the Gym , jumping on crash mats and on the trampoline doing a tuck jump.

Joining different strokes has been a great time for me. Amanda our trainer is pushing us to achieve but in a kind way so we regain our fitness but never exceeding our limitations.

HeadwayEssex has also been a great experience but it is surprising how exhausting concentrating on re learning can be.

I feel more positive. If I hadn't had the stroke I would never have met such great people. Thanks to them.

Topic of the Week #3: Project Process
.Q: What is your process when planning a project? Do you shop for yarn and then find a suitable pattern? Do you find your pattern and then go out to buy the yarn? Or are you stash-busting? If your stash is out of control, how did it get that way?

A: I think I use a variety of methods. Shop for sock wool by colour and choosing a new mix to try. For other garments I decide what I would like and try to find a pattern in the weight I want. I have been stash busting my old machine yarn by using it for knitting for charity.

Uk swap topic. Magazines . I subscribe to Interweave Knits having bought a subscription online paying in US $ and as the rate is so favourable it is such a bargain. I love the articles the patterns arew great and how they have a section featuring the yarns used by thickness.

I have been known to buy Simply knitting for the free gift especially when the market sells at 80p., but it doesn't keep my interest for long and I really only like the yarn reviews.

Yesterday the market had 'Lets Knit' reduced to only £1 with free wooden needles. I really liked it, mostly for the articles on socks, my current obsession. Not sure wether to subscribe but I'm tempted.

This is my 4th pair given as a present. They are for a friends son. But just look at the size. my size5 ones are the pinky ones. The blue/green striped are uk size15. Didn't know I'd finish in time, the foot kept just going on and on. Finally remembered to take a photo. I make the sock bands using publisher and they just make them look a bit more special.

Charity knitting

This is my favourite baby jacket made at my craft group. It is an Elizabeth Zimmerman Tomten with a button fastening. It was great to knit as it is garter stitch. Ideal for knitting and chatting. I have also made hats, scarves and bedsocks to sent to Romania. Mostly I have been using my old stash of machine knitting coned wool , a good use as I haven't used the machine for 20ish years. It was not really relaxing. My next project a mohair blanket/shawl to use my mohair stash.

Socks, socks and more socks

These are some of the results of my decision last year to knit a wardrobe of socks. It has been a good time as I need to rest a lot and socks are small and portable and I feel okay about resting if I'm making. I have also knitted a wool cardi for me a scarf with wool I bought before the stroke at Alexander Palace.I love the Regia stripy wool, Violet green's red Merino mix and also even some old 3ply lambswool angora and nylon mix that I knitted 2 strands together. Less popular has been cotton lacey socks, bamboo mix and a cashmere that is so fine I can't really see that stitches.

My beautiful rescue cat Casper who finally died from leukemia and Feline Aids yesterday. We had him for 18 months since adopting him from Colchester Cat rescue. He had been there for a year and was very down. We gave him a loving home and he had 4 people who adored him. His illness returned and the last week he got weaker and weaker and didn't talk or eat...We'll miss him so much.

Nantucket Jacket KAL

I've started a jacket that I saw in the Interweave magazine. It's going to be knitted with cascade 220. The same wool that I made my felted Ballerina slippers.. I must take a photo and post those as they are very cute and practical. Back to the jacket. I'm going to legthen the 3/4 sleeves as I'll just get too cold and have already chenged the pattern slightly as Chart B made holes and it wasn't for me. I'm really enjoying it and it's growing well. Today I'll be back in the garden for some more topdressing and deadheading!!

Crochet Fair trade coffee

Another new item for a friend's birthday. A crochet mug of coffee..fairtrade of course. A real achievement as crochet is like another language. It took me 3 attempts to start neatly and I have to write every row as I do it. However worth the time I'm pleased with it.

Also I've managed to start gardening again. It's windy but dry so started with easy pruning of dead wood. A bit at a time is the way forward.

Health Update

When to the neurologist last week and still they do not have my scan results. I'm changing medication to see if something else is better for me. Somedays are okay and others not too good. It is expected to be a long recovery period so at least I can knit.

Hi not a great photo but twin Colinette Tagliatelli zip up Jackets. I made one in velvet plum and my sis liked it so much she wanted one. I didn't really want to make one the same and Annabel thought we would look like twins. After much thought and looking at the Colinette samples I decided that as she liked mine so much it was silly not to use the same colour. I couldn't get a zip to fit so actually the neck is different on hers and I preferred hers. She wants to commission me to make another but it will be a different colour!

The glove mitts were taken from a knitters bible accessories. The yarns are a though mix with some tapestry wool sourced from a charity shop. I never realised that you could use them. Never too old to learn...

Last prestroke knit

This was my first ever hat knitted top down. The pattern came from 'Knitting for dummies'. It was started at the 'I-cord' on 4 needles and has the great advantage of no seam. MY 3 year old niece looked great in it. The yarn was from my stash and a thick double knitting. I forgot to write it down.

I'll probably make more hats in light colours as long as I can do thicker yarns on circular needles.

More probs with the socks .. it justs seems to take too much brain power at the moment..

Disappointingly I've had more migraines so not feeling too great at the moment. But is still early days. I found a stroke support group 'Different strokes' for under 55's. But really need to feel better before going to their gentle exercise class.

" Old Knitting"

These are gloves made for a good friend who uses a motability scooter. Her sleeves ride up leaving those wrists cold. I added the eyelash yarn and extended a glove pattern that I found.

Old knitting is pre stroke. Now I find dark yarn very difficult to work with.

Yesterday was pants.. Went to eye clinic my glasses are okay but my brain can't inteprete what I'm seeing.. hence the vision problems. Got home to find my appointment for the neurologist had been cancelled and I have to wait yet another week. It will have been 2 months since I left hospital but still no real answers. Very frustrating especially as the migraines returned Saturday and I've felt rubbish since.
